How many children are there?
Currently there are 59 children. There is always pressure to accept more but at this point we are limited.
What are the ages?
From 2 years old until college age. Some of the children have been at the home since 1999
How is the orphanage funded?
Local churches and people in Nigeria often contribute food, but most of the funds to operate it come from donations from individuals and churches in the U.S. The long term goal is to become self-sufficient by farming the land the orphanage owns.
How much land does the orphanage have?
Over 1,100 acres
Do you adopt out children?
To date none of the children from the orphanage have been adopted out. The bureaucracy for adoption in Nigeria is very involved and requires a long time.
What are the immediate needs?
The children are in desperate need of clean water. Drilling their own well and building a water system is top priority.

Is the Greater Grace Orphanage tax exempt?
Our application for 501(c) 3 status is in process. For the present time, we are tax exempt under the Chapel Ministries International umbrella.
